Headquarters was built in 2007 and totals 14,000 square feet.
All administrative offices are also located at this station.
This station was dedicated to Willie Bass Jr, a volunteer
Fire Chief for 16 years with our organization who held a vision that
pushed Sherrills Ford – Terrell Fire & Rescue toward the future.
Headquarters houses one
Engine, one 105’ Ladder, one Heavy Rescue, one Tanker, one Fire
Boat, and one QRV.

Station 1
Address: 8073 Sherrills Ford Rd. Sherrills Ford, NC 28673
This station was built in 1972, as our first official fire station
in Sherrills Ford and Terrell.
A dedicated group of citizens recognized the need for fire
protection in Sherrills Ford and took action for their community.
It houses one Engine, one Tanker, one Squad, one Rescue Boat,
and one Brush Truck.

Station 2
Address: 4385 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Sherrills Ford, NC 28673
This station was built in 1982 and was once owned and operated by
Sherrills Ford Rescue Squad. In 1997, the Rescue Squad and Fire
Department merged. The new incorporation name became Sherrills Ford
– Terrell Fire & Rescue, Inc.
Catawba County EMS also houses an Advanced Life Support unit
at this station. This
station houses one Engine, one Tanker, two Medics and the Dive
Trailer.

Station 3
Address: 4582 Burris Rd. Denver, NC 28037
This station was built in 2008-09. July 1st 2008 we
started providing coverage to three sections of a district that a
neighboring fire department once covered. When we started providing
coverage, we had to add a sub-station to provide a quick response
time and allow citizens the coverage of our districts Class 6 ISO
rating. This station
houses, one Engine, and one Tanker along with miscellaneous
equipment.
